Theme, Queen of Coins. Coins is the element of Earth in the realm of home, health, wealth, and anything physical. The Queen is the mistress of the element. She has a passion for nature and nurturing. This week, be sure that as you prepare for the holidays, you make time to nurture yourself as well as your creativity. Caring for others and your creativity relies on your well-being. Nothing functions if you aren’t fed, rested, and healthy.
Focus, 9 of Cups. Cups is the element of Water in the realm of heart, emotions, dreams, intuition and creativity. Nine is a number of nearing completion, of an intensity of the suit, in this case, an intensity of joy and fulfillment. This week, ask yourself if you know what brings you joy and a sense of fulfillment, especially in regard to your creative work. Do you still feel joy with your current project–or your creative path? If not, what can you do to restore joy to your creative life?
Action, Death. This Major Arcana card represents endings, endings that lead to new beginnings. Be aware this week of what in your creative project or path needs to end, even if the ending or letting go is hard. Notice the white rose blooming from the darkness of death. Out of the darkness of an ending, something beautiful will emerge, if you can let go and remember that death brings transformation.

When you care for and nurture yourself so you are strong enough to face the letting go of something in your creative life, you make space for the presence and gifts of the High Priestess. You become more aware of and open to intuition and the messages from the Muse.
