Do you need to be as generous with your yourself in terms of energy, time, and money, as you are with others? Generosity is important and necessary, but in balance. Don’t let your creative energies suffer in order to meet someone’s expectations of what you should do. And don’t let yourself get so tied up in your creative work that you forget about those around you.
