Here the farmer happily contemplates her crop, almost ready for harvest. This week, find satisfaction in the work you’ve accomplished thus far on your current creative project, even if it isn’t progressing as quickly as you might like. You’ve obviously put a lot of work and time into it. Take pride in that, and then do what needs to be done, mindfully, to bring it to completion and launch it into the world.
Focus, 2 of Cups. Cups is the element of Water in the realm of heart, emotions, dreams, intuition, and creativity. Two is a number of choice, decision, balance, and partnership. Did you look for an accountability partner as was suggested in last week’s reading as the action? Or is there someone else in your life who serves as encouraging partner or patron of your creative work? Do you need to connect with them this week to share your progress and challenges?

As you contemplate your project’s progress, trust your dreams and intuition this week about what you need to do to bring the project to completion. The Moon encourages you to go deeply within to clarify ideas and insights that will bring more layers and depth to your work. And don’t be discouraged by the ups and downs. They too shall pass.
Gift, 5 of Wands. Wands is the element of Fire in the realm of spirit, creativity, career, and work. Five is a number of conflict and challenge, but in this position of gift, it offers a respite from that need to compete and excel, perhaps even a slight shift in creative direction.
