MONDAY TAROT MESSAGE FROM THE MUSE, 11/18/2024
Theme, 8 of Swords. Swords is the element of Air in the realm of mind, thoughts, attitudes, and beliefs. Eight is a number of motion and speed in the tarot, and yet there is no motion here. This week, be aware of when circular and repetitious thoughts about your creative work keep you from moving forward with it. You can break free if you stop believing you can’t. Remove the blindfold, see your work and your path forward clearly, then take small steps and use the tools at hand to create easily once again.
Focus, 2 of Coins. Coins is the element of Earth in the realm of home, health, and wealth, anything physical. Two is a number of choice, decision, partnership, or balance. Are you paying attention to the practical details of your creativity? Are you balancing your budget of not just money, but also other resources such as time, energy, and materials? Can you keep a balanced calm as you free yourself from blocks and circular thinking?
Action, Justice. This Major Arcana card suggests that it is important to balance new awareness and thinking with action. If you’ve made the effort to break out of circular thinking and creative blocks, then make sure you follow through with action. And perhaps the first action is to create a plan and a timeline so you don’t get bogged down in details and a sense of overwhelm (which may have created the blocks in the first place). Be fair to yourself as well as to your work. Keep expectations reasonable.
Gift, 7 of Cups. Cups is the element of Water in the realm of heart, emotions, dreams, intuition, and creativity. Seven is a number of action or the contemplation of action. In this position, the card suggests the gift of new-found passion for your creative work or projects that you can use to propel you forward while staying focused on the vision and your desired results.
