MONDAY TAROT MESSAGE FROM THE MUSE, 9/8/2025

Theme, The Empress. This Major Arcana card, the Empress, represents the universal or cosmic mother in all her many and varied forms, embracing the sexual, creative, and nurturing qualities. This week, be mindful of the moments that give you time to nurture your creativity and yourself. Abundant ideas, creative growth, and the ability to flourish require nurturing. Be sure to give yourself enough healthy food, water, and rest. And nourish your imagination and sense of play.
Focus, King of Wands. Wands is the element of Fire in the realm of spirit, creativity, career and work. The King is the master of the element and, in this case, a model of confidence and creative authority. Are you willing to take bold action in your creative work? Do you dare to don your robe of creative authority and move forward in new directions with your work? Do you need to be more patient with others or yourself when work and career are not moving as quickly as you would like?
Action, 10 of Wands. Wands again, but here the reminder is to balance all that hard work with moments of play, whimsy, and fun. If you’ve taken on too much, or expect to deliver too fast, then perhaps it’s time to put down some or all of the load and rest. Don’t take on another project without completing something else, and giving yourself time to recuperate. Remember the old adage that all work and no play makes Jack (or Jill) a dull boy (girl).
Gift, 10 of Swords. Swords is the element of Air in the realm of mind, thoughts, attitudes, beliefs, and communication. Ten is a number of completion of a phase or stage or project. Although the card does not look very beneficial or gift-like, in its position of gift, it offers relief from overthinking, obsessive worrying, and mental fatigue. This is the gift that arrives when you nurture yourself and your work, especially when you give yourself permission to play and have fun within the work.
